This is a collage card I did while teaching a class last year and I really love it. Not too often I am this happy with my work .. but I find this one really fulfilling. What do you think? Hugs Alanna
okay ... i already typed this out once ... and LOST it ... duh ... anyhow ... I will post the instructions for this on the blog and try to get it done tonight or tomorrow for you Beth. It is very simple and effective. Big hugs Alanna
Okay ... so here are the instructions for doing this card. First ... take a whole sheet of white cardstock (I really like my white linen but you can use whatever fancies you). Choose mulitple stamps using a theme if you like ... or not ... LOL. Stamp them at random all over your cardstock using different colours of dye based inks. Make sure to stamp off the edge of your cs so that it looks like you have cut the whole sheet out of a larger sheet. Does that makes sense? Anyhow ... once you have done that get our your Colorbox Stylus (or you can use small makeup sponges if you like). Choose various colours of Pigment or chalk inks (either will work and give you a bit different look) and start applying colour to your page ... again at random. Blend the edges lightly so there is smooth transition between your colours. Once you have done that you can now stamp over that page using verses or even more images ... in black dye based ink. This just sets it all off. Now you have a full page that you can start to tear up, cut up ... and layer onto your cards. I LOVE this ... so much fun ... so easy ... and so dramatic. big hugs Alanna
